It happens in life that we meet someone and immediately realize that this is the person with whom we would like to spend eternity.
However, not everyone is lucky enough to be paired with a soulmate during the adventure called life, so when you do, make sure you stick with that individual and never let go of their side.
An 80-year-old man brought breakfast and flowers to his wife in a nursing home. Someone who saw him doing this every morning asked him about his wife and why she stayed at the facility. The man replied that she was suffering from Alzheimer’s.
“Would your wife mind if you didn’t come and bring her breakfast one day?” asked the curious old man. The man then replied: “She doesn’t remember.” She doesn’t even know who I am, she hasn’t known me for five years.”
Surprised, the person asked another question: “So why do you bring your wife breakfast every morning, even though she doesn’t even know you?” With a smile on his face, the devoted man replied, “She doesn’t know who I am, but I know who she is.”
This really touched our hearts to the core.
